Interpretation
Their relationship is sailing stormy seas at the moment and they are going through a rough patch or a troubled period. One or both of them may be feeling overwhelmed, trapped or stuck, or feel that the relationship may not be progressing as quickly as they would like. A third party may be causing problems in their relationship.
He feels she is over indulging in her spending or behaving irresponsibly, like a spoiled child, running up bills and expecting him to cover the expenses. He feels she is someone who wants all the rewards without putting the work in. There is an indication of some sort of deceit or deception in a relationship. He stays with her for all of the wrong reasons, for money and status rather than love. He may resent her independence and feel insecure and vulnerable at the realisation that she doesn't actually need him. He feels she is someone who is materialist and superficial, lacking any sophistication, elegance, grace or style.
She is accepting that her relationship with him is coming to an end (in its physical sense), it's likely that it has been emotionally dying for quite some time. This may have been an extremely upsetting thing for her to acknowledge but she is now ready to face the truth and move on. She is beginning to see the possibilities for romance that are all around her, and may already have her eye on someone.
They have been arguing a lot and have now gotten locked in a stalemate where they are both digging their heals in and refusing to compromise. If the relationship is to last, there needs to be some compromise and they both need to learn from past mistakes.
