Never a welcome card - The Devil - is about all things negative. Anger, violence, temptation, fear, and doubt are just some of the terrors associated with this card. It suggests feeling trapped perhaps in an unhealthy relationship, an addiction, or a lie.
Be aware of the dangers that surround you. Someone close to you is not trustworthy - don’t let flattery blind you. The Devil card may come as a surprise to you, but it’s important that you heed his warning.
There is something in your life that is holding you back and you might not have realized it yet.
The Devil can point to hedonistic tendencies, the enjoyment of food, drink, sex, material pleasures, but it often suggests over-indulgence or excessive behaviour, such as addictions.
